Sleep well
Sleep upstairs, live downstairs – that’s how the Schwarzhornhaus is laid out. We provide 35 beds in seven rooms, though we can increase that to a maximum of 45 beds for larger groups
Single room
There’s one single room at our Centre. The single room has a table and chairs and plenty of storage for clothes and other important items. The room has a wash basin and has its own bathroom on the same floor.
Double rooms
We have 2 relaxing double rooms for our guests. The rooms have bunk beds, washing facilities and plenty of storage space for clothes and other important items. The rooms have a shared bathroom.
Dormitories
You have the choice between 2 seven-bed rooms and 2 eight-bed rooms. There is plenty of storage space for clothes and other important items. The rooms have a shared bathroom
We are also happy to welcome smaller groups ...
... though our minimum is 25 people and 2 nights. If your group is smaller than this, we charge the minimum amount. Our Centre can only be used by one group at a time.
No smoking is permitted in any of the public areas of the house, or any of the bedrooms. There are some designated smoking areas.
The Schwarzhornhaus Waldstetten youth hostel and conference / retreat centre is partially accessible. There is an accessible shower and WC in the basement. And there’s a bedroom in the basement. The kitchen and seminar rooms are easy to reach in a wheelchair. There is a small step at the entrance so a wheelchair user may need help here.
The Schwarzhornhaus Waldstetten youth hostel and conference / retreat centre has a camp site with space for 50 people, running water, electricity, sanitary facilities, cooking facilities, shower, recreation room. The camp site can only be booked together with the Schwarzhornhaus Waldstetten youth hostel and conference / retreat centre.
For larger groups and families we can provide additional beds in the rooms.
There are 3 free parking places right next to the youth hostel.
